Our Story and Commitment
Founded in 2008, Shiltron of Fortriu seeks to immerse audiences in Viking era culture through historically accurate reenactments, archery, and living history. Our mission is to educate and engage with respect for the period’s authenticity and cultural significance.
Our Backstory
We are a mercenary warband of Pictish, Norse, Slavs, Danes and Saxons roaming Great Britain in search of wealth and fame. We are based in and around Audley in Staffordshire where we train every other Saturday for 4 hours, honing our skills.
